As promised, the team of the unannounced shooter from the American Bungie (Destiny 2, Marathon), integrated into the structure of Sony Interactive Entertainment last summer, was formed into a separate studio.

The studio was named teamLFG (short for Looking For Group) and is focused on games where users “can find friends, like-minded people, and their place.”
TeamLFG is dedicated to creating outstanding action games with deep, social virtual worlds and accessible yet deep gameplay that will keep gamers engaged for hours on end.

TeamLFG’s debut project is a team-based shooter set in a lighthearted comedy world that combines fantasy and sci-fi. The team is inspired by fighting games, platformers, MOBAs, life simulators, and “frog-type games.”
TeamLFG will be developing the game with the community, inviting users to closed testing during production, and responding quickly to customer feedback after release.

Given the origin story of teamLFG, it is not surprising that its debut project will be a game-as-service. The studio promises to support and develop the shooter for many years after its release.
TeamLFG includes veterans of Destiny, Halo, League of Legends, Fortnite, Roblox, and Rec Room, as well as industry newcomers. The studio positions itself as part of the PlayStation Studios conglomerate.
