The PlayStation Accessories app for PC will help PC owners get the most out of the DualSense Edge. “Starting today, PC gamers can unlock the full customization potential of the DualSense Edge controller right on their PC,” the company said in a post on social media X.

The new application makes it possible to configure various parameters of the gamepad, as well as check for firmware updates. Among the settings available for modification are trigger dead zones, joystick sensitivity and dead zones, and function assignments for each button. Additionally, you can now create, edit, and switch between user profiles on your PC.

Until now, DualSense Edge owners on PC have been limited in how they can customize their controller, despite its excellent overall capabilities. Like many other Sony gaming accessories, it did not receive full support on the platform. However, the release of PlayStation Accessories changes the situation radically, with the DualSense Edge becoming a real competitor to the Xbox Elite, which, moreover, as HotHardware notes, has a reputation for not being the most reliable device. The Sony app is now available for download.
