“Say goodbye to your free time”: World of Warcraft veterans announce co-op dungeon adventures Fellowship

The Swedish studio Chief Rebel, consisting of veterans of the development of World of Warcraft, Diablo, Helldivers, Battlefield and The Division, with the support of the publisher Arc Games, presented its debut game – Fellowship.

Fellowship is billed as the first-ever multiplayer online dungeon crawl, or MODA. The project combines elements of MMO, MOBA and action-RPG that players love.

PC Gamer compared Fellowship to “WoW’s Mythic+ dungeons if they were a full game.” “Say goodbye to your free time,” the developers threaten.

Players will be sent into a fantasy world with endlessly challenging dungeons, high-level forays, diverse heroes, dangerous enemies, powerful bosses and epic rewards.

Two types of dungeons are announced – adventure (10-15 minutes) and ranked (30 minutes), – increasing difficulty as characters level up, gameplay modifiers and leaderboards.

They promise online co-op for four players, many heroes in three directions (tank, healer, fighter) with unique talents and skills, deadly challenges and seasonal updates.

Fellowship will be a premium game without a subscription. The release is expected in 2025 on PC (Steam). A closed “alpha” will be held from August 15 to 20; you can sign up to volunteer through the official website.
