As part of The Game Awards 2024, Obsidian Entertainment showed the first gameplay video of The Outer Worlds 2, a continuation of the satirical role-playing game announced three years ago.

The developers showed the decoration of some locations, and also made it clear that the project in almost all aspects will be larger than the original.
The voice-over noted, not without irony, that The Outer Worlds 2, as befits a good sequel, will receive a multiple increase in the amount of content compared to the original. “More action, more weapons, more graphics,” the authors assured.
The Outer Worlds 2 will be released in 2025 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The project will be available on Game Pass from day one.
