«Wow! So many people joined Dave’s Blue Abyss adventure. We are grateful for all the love we have received and we will continue to create even more exciting content for our divers,” Mintrocket wrote in a message to fans. The last time they disclosed sales information was in June 2024 – then it was about 4 million.

Dave the Diver invites the player to try on the role of Dave, who explores the depths of the sea and fishes during the day, and manages a sushi bar in the evening. It has eccentric characters and a story full of jokes, parodies and humorous scenes. Gamers appreciated the efforts of the developers, as evidenced by the “extremely positive” reviews on Steam (97% rating).

The final version of Dave the Diver was released on June 28, 2023 on PC, in the fall of the same year it appeared on Nintendo Switch, and in April 2024 on PS4 and PS5.
