Patch 1.1, 110.6 GB in size (Steam version), is already available on PC and Xbox consoles. GSC admitted that the patch was quite voluminous and promised to work on reducing the weight of future updates.

In version 1.1, the developers implemented more than 1,800 different fixes, including the first batch of improvements for the A-Life 2.0 life simulation system that crashed at release (read what happened to it here).

In particular, NPCs will no longer appear behind the player and will begin to appear more often in the Zone. The authors also increased the visibility distance of NPCs and improved their navigation abilities, as well as expanded the operating area of the system.

In addition, GSC has fixed issues with the AI system, cutscenes (particularly related to facial animation), interactive items, story and mission progression, open world, equipment, and other aspects.

The studio also increased performance in densely populated areas, improved the operation of controllers, fixed numerous crashes and bugs, voice acting and the appearance of NPCs, and once again adjusted the balance of different elements of the game.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was released on November 20 on PC (Steam, GOG, Microsoft Store, EGS), Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass. Sales in two days after the release exceeded 1 million copies – according to the co-owner of GSC, the game has already paid for itself.
