“Rust on a Train”: Gamers Decide What Enginefall’s Multiplayer Sandbox About Survival on Board a Mega-Train Is Like

Red Rover Interactive has released a video reviewing the key gameplay features of Enginefall, a multiplayer sandbox action game announced a few days ago.

Enginefall takes place on board a huge train, and as the character develops, the gamer will be able to choose the best rolling stock from several presented. In a new video, the authors showed in detail what awaits the newly minted passenger who decides to get to the locomotive.

Enginefall will give the player the opportunity to extract resources from scattered garbage and transform them into something useful. Sometimes, to get especially rare artifacts for upgrading weapons, you will have to make forays into higher-class wagons or wagons with a different specialization.

The authors emphasize that in Enginefall you won’t be able to peacefully exist in a well-furnished train car, ignoring clan wars and battles for the leader’s place. Enginefall will be released in early 2026 on PC (Steam). Public testing of the game will begin tomorrow, March 1. You can request access to future tests on the page in the Valve service.
