Results of Devolver Delayed Awards 2024 – Baby Steps, Stick it to the Stickman and Skate Story will not be released in 2024

Following the recent teaser, publisher Devolver Digital hosted the Devolver Delayed Awards 2024, which it used as a platform to announce the postponement of three of its games to a later date.

Winning the Best Stumbling Walking Simulator award and being postponed until 2025 was Baby Steps, a ridiculous walking simulator with a hint of Death Stranding from the creators of Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy and Ape Out.

In the story, in the role of an unemployed 35-year-old unfortunate Nate, players will have to learn to walk again, exploring a world shrouded in fog. Baby Steps is being created for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5.

The corporate roguelike Stick It to the Stickman from Free Lives (Broforce, Terra Nil, Anger Foot) had no equal in the Best Late Capitalism Roguelike Game category and rightfully earned the honor of being postponed to 2025.

Users will fight their way through peers, managers and bosses, learning powerful “business techniques” to become the CEO of the worst company in America. Stick It to the Stickman is preparing for release on Steam.

The prize for Best Leading Glass Maniac went to developer Sam Eng’s skate adventure Skate Story, which has also been delayed to 2025.

The game tells the story of a demon made of glass and pain, who was offered by the devil to ride a skateboard to the moon and swallow it in exchange for release from the underworld. Skate Story is announced for release on Steam.
