Fans’ dream of seeing a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 skating compilation died with Vicarious Visions, but it looks like it might come true in the foreseeable future.

Let us recall that Vicarious Visions developed the collection of remakes of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, released in 2020. Despite the success of the game, the studio was acquired by Blizzard Entertainment in the spring of 2022.
According to skateboarder Tony Hawk, Activision was planning to release Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, but the situation with Vicarious Visions put an end to the plans – they were unable to find a partner for development.
Last fall, Hawk talked about some kind of joint project with Activision related to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and now professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones has spoken out about a new game in the series.
«”I’m in a Tony Hawk game, which is cool — they’re doing a new remaster that’s coming out soon. I was also in [Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2],” Jones said on The Breakfast Club podcast on Power 105.1 FM’s YouTube channel.
Jones was one of the playable characters in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2
In the wake of Jones’ revelations, Spanish insider eXtas1s, who predicted the arrival of Doom: The Dark Ages on Developer_Direct, has revealed in a new video that the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 compilation is still alive and closer to release than ever before.
According to eXtas1s, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will premiere on PC, PS5, Xbox, and Game Pass without prior announcement, immediately after the (yet to be confirmed) Xbox Games Showcase 2025 in June.
