As it became known, the chance to immortalize himself in the future RPG from Bethesda Game Studios was ultimately given to a person who decided to part with $85,450 (about 7.5 million rubles at the current exchange rate) for this.
The money was raised for a good cause. The proceeds from the auction are planned to be sent to the Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic charity, which helps make wishes come true for children with serious illnesses.

It is currently unclear who exactly bought the opportunity to create their own NPC for The Elder Scrolls VI, but the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages (UESP), The Imperial Library, and a “large group” of themed bloggers fought for this right until the very end.
«Our plan was to honor a fan who recently passed away, Laurenna. We are still interested in this and are considering alternative options,” the fans added.

Loranna is most likely a reference to a UESP forum user named Loranna Pyrel (real name Frank), who was responsible for a series of forum roleplaying campaigns from 2004 to late 2006. He passed away in early 2023.
The Elder Scrolls VI was announced at E3 2018 and has been in active development since the summer before last. According to Microsoft’s court documents, the game is not expected to be released until 2026 on PC and Xbox consoles.
