Premiere of ARC Raiders gameplay – an evacuation shooter in the spirit of Escape from Tarkov

Embark Studios (THE FINALS) showed off the first gameplay of ARC Raiders, its PvPvE evacuation shooter with survival elements, which was announced almost three years ago. The video was recorded as part of October technical testing.

ARC Raiders takes place in the future on Earth under attack by mechanized ARC invaders. People have taken refuge from a deadly threat in an underground colony and are in desperate need of resources. The raiders were tasked with extracting important components, and their combat mission was demonstrated in a six-minute video.

During a raid, players first slowly explore locations, collecting medical supplies and shooting AI-controlled drones. At some point, the sortie ceases to be an ordinary walk: the raiders encounter their own kind, a shootout ensues, and they have to hastily retreat.

ARC Raiders will be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S. The game will not be free-to-play – back in August of this year, the developers decided to sell it for $40.
