Last April 1, the developers of the sensational survival game Palworld from the Japanese studio Pocketpair presented a humorous trailer for a dating simulator based on the game, and a year later confirmed plans to release the project.

The game is called Palworld! More Than Just Pals and is a visual novel with a romantic twist. The announcement was accompanied by a one and a half minute gameplay trailer.
Players of Palworld! More Than Just Pals will take on the role of a student who transfers to the prestigious Palagos Private Academy. Users will meet unique friends (pals) and enjoy school life.
«It’s up to you to decide whether to remain friends with the Pals, develop romantic relationships with them, or even dismember and eat them,” the creators of Palworld! More Than Just Pals intrigue.
The developers have confirmed the appearance of ten characters in the game, including the hard-drinking school nurse Saya, the spider-like Tarantriss, and the jealous knife-wielding girl Splatterina.
Palworld! More Than Just Pals doesn’t have a release date yet, but it does have a page on the Steam digital distribution service. The first trailer promised an April 1, 2025 release, but that was probably a joke.
Meanwhile, Palworld, still in early access on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, received a major 0.5.0 update in March with crossplay and photo mode.
