Over the Hill is an off-road exploration game set in the golden age of off-roading. Users will drive iconic cars from the 60s to 80s, overcome challenging routes and enjoy the scenery.

Players will be asked to explore, navigate and discover vast expanses of wildlife. The game’s varied locations are inspired by real-life places, “from valleys to mountains and everything in between.”

The wild spaces in Over the Hill will allow you to explore both alone and in a company of up to three people – the game features multiplayer for four. You can relax from a long day in nature by setting up camp and gathering with friends around the fire.

Over the Hill features dynamic weather conditions, day/night cycles, realistic terrain deformation, a built-in photo mode, hidden treasures, and tons of content to unlock (cars, upgrades).

The developers insist that Over the Hill is not a game about a destination, but about a leisurely journey to it, about getting lost in a vast world: “Take your time, find peace and harmony in minimalism.”

Over the Hill is being developed for PC (Steam) and at this stage does not even have an approximate release date. The announcement was accompanied by a 48-second gameplay trailer, embedded above.
