“One of the most unique fatalities in the game”: fans were impressed by the trailer for Noob Saibot in Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns

The Khaos Reigns addon for the fighting game Mortal Kombat 1 is getting closer, and publisher Warner Bros. Games with developers from NetherRealm Studios presented a trailer for the last original fighter from the future expansion.

A three-minute gameplay video introduces viewers to the ghost Noob Saibot, formerly known as Bi-Han (Sub-Zero) – in the new chronology, Havik stole Bi-Han’s soul and turned him into a loyal follower.

As Sub-Zero, Bi-Han was a ruthless killer of the Lin Kuei and sought to make his clan the strongest in the world, while Noob Saibot dedicated himself to fomenting anarchy and overthrowing any form of authority.

The new trailer shows off Noob Saibot’s moveset, including his ability to teleport, explosive sticky projectiles, and a selection of attacks using his shadow assistant.

In addition, the video showed the character’s animality – as part of this finishing move, Noob Saibot and his shadow assistant will turn into crocodiles. Animalities will be part of a free update that will be released alongside Khaos Reigns.

Kombat Pack 2 fighters – Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, Conan the Barbarian and Terminator T-1000

Viewers were delighted with the demonstration of Noob Saibot (although not everyone liked his new design) and the creativity of his techniques. “One of the most unique fatalities in the game,” says TheAustinjameson.

Khaos Reigns will be available on September 24th for $50 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and $40 on Switch. The pre-order includes Kombat Pack 2, a six-player pack (see image above) that cannot be purchased separately.
