Off-road driving simulator Expeditions: A MudRunner Game finally gets a co-op mode, but for now only on Steam

Publisher Focus Entertainment and developers Saber Interactive (SnowRunner) announced the release of a cooperative mode for their off-road driving simulator Expeditions: A MudRunner Game.

Co-op in Expeditions: A MudRunner Game allows players to create a convoy of four vehicles to explore the world together, conquer the unknown and unravel the mysteries of nature.

Co-op mode includes completing expeditions, contracts and tasks, switching between trucks and tracking participant routes on the map, sharing resources and a quick messaging system.

In the preparation phase, the lobby administrator can select a region, up to four trucks and three specialists, while guests at this stage only have the choice of one truck.

The lobby administrator can also build base modules and guests can use them. In addition, session participants have access to all additional content purchased by the administrator.

At the time of publication, co-op mode is only available in the Steam version of Expeditions: A MudRunner Game. The update will reach the Epic Games Store in the near future, and to consoles in 2024.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game was released in March on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. On the occasion of the release of the co-op, the Steam version received a 25% discount until August 1st.
