The MP1st portal shared details of an unconfirmed remake of the open-world pirate action game Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, citing information from its former developer.
As MP1st reports, details of the updated version of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag appeared in the resume of the same specialist, which was confirmed by the rumored remake of the role-playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and its details.
After the publication of MP1st’s previous material, the developer allegedly closed his personal website and his online profiles, but journalists managed to record new information about the reimagining of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
According to an October report from insider Tom Henderson, the remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is being created on the Anvil engine familiar from the original game, but will not be a simple graphics upgrade.
According to MP1st, the reimagining of Black Flag will offer new combat mechanics and wilderness ecosystems that will help “rebirth the outstanding game as a next-gen AAA title.”
Although the updated Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag has not been officially confirmed, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot assured last summer that the company is developing remakes of several old parts of the series.
