No more “invites”: open beta testing of shooter Valorant on consoles has started

The beta version of the tactical shooter Valorant has become available for launch to all owners of the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S consoles – now an invitation code is not required to get acquainted with the game.

The developers from Riot Games admitted that they spent a lot of time making control from the gamepad as convenient as possible. A special Focus shooting mode was developed especially for this, which is in many ways similar to Hip-Fire (designed for keyboard and mouse), but only with less sensitivity.

The authors confirmed support for cross-platform play between consoles – without the participation of PC gamers in matches. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will immediately have access to new content and will also be able to unlock all the heroes.

Riot Games is in no hurry to announce the release date of the final version of Valorant on consoles. The shooter was released on PC back in 2020.
