Journalists from MP1st discovered screenshots of an early version of the project codenamed Star Wars: Bruno in the portfolio of an unnamed artist named Bit Reactor (the images are dated mid-2023).
Star Wars: Bruno appears to be an XCOM analogue. The game will likely take place during the Clone Wars, as the images feature a reference to Bo-Katan Kryze from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series.

The screenshots released by MP1st show a battle between Mandalorians and Imperial stormtroopers with the familiar XCOM Overwatch feature, a shoulder camera when aiming at an enemy, and a chance to hit them.
Additionally, the leak gives us a look at an early version of the Star Wars: Bruno interface and menu elements, as well as concept art of the player’s base of operations in the Kafrena asteroid belt mining colony.
According to an insider tip from Timur222, a full announcement of the tactical strategy game based on Star Wars from Bit Reactor will be made on April 19 at the Star Wars Celebration festival, which will be held in Japan.
The game is being developed in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment. Bit Reactor was founded in January 2021 by former Firaxis Games employees, led by its former art director Greg Foertsch.
