Let us recall that the update 7.0 (called The Trygon Update) was announced by the creators of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 back in February, while the release was expected in mid-April.
The developers have not deviated from the planned plan since then. As it became known, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will receive the Trygon Update patch exactly in the middle of the month, that is, on April 15.
The key feature of the 7.0 update will be the PvE mission “Exfiltration” to rescue a Tech-priest from the planet Avarax. The task also includes a new boss – the giant Tyranid Trygon.
The patch also includes private PvP lobbies with many customizable options, the Inferno pistol for the Assault, Bulwark, Sniper, and Heavy classes (PvP and PvE), a rework of weapon perks, and two new armor colors.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Season Pass owners will be greeted with new cosmetic content in patch 7.0 – we are talking about skins based on the Space Wolves order and the Imperial Fists champion.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was released on September 9, 2024 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The team is not going to abandon support for the game for the recently announced and still far from release Space Marine 3.
