Following the July rumors, Microsoft announced the first wave of August new titles for Game Pass subscribers on PC and Xbox consoles on the Xbox Wire blog, and also revealed the games leaving the service in the near future.
Last week, 2K and Microsoft confirmed rumors launched by insiders Nate the Hate (aka NateDrake) and eXtas1s: the crime thriller Mafia: Definitive Edition will join the PC and Xbox Game Pass catalog on August 13th.
Microsoft also recalled that on August 7, Creatures of Ava, an adventure game about rescuing animals on an exotic planet, will appear on PC and Xbox Game Pass (Xbox Series X and S only). This was originally announced back in June.
Finally, Microsoft confirmed another statement from eXtas1s. A Spanish insider claimed in July that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy collection would hit Game Pass on August 8th. That’s how it turned out in the end.
As it became known, on the appointed day, a collection of full-fledged remakes of the first three games in the series of platformers about the restless bandicoot Crash will become part of the PC and Xbox Game Pass library.
According to eXtas1s, off-road driving simulator Expeditions: A MudRunner Game will debut on Game Pass throughout August. The insider also expects Spyro Reignited Trilogy and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 on the service.
As for the outgoing projects, four games will leave Game Pass on August 15: Airborne Kingdom (PC and Xbox), Offworld Trading Company (PC), Shadow Warrior 3 (PC and Xbox) and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PC and Xbox).
