On the horizon for the medieval open-world action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 from the Czech Warhorse Studios is not only the first major patch, but also the release of a version for the GOG service. Its exact release date was recently revealed.

Recall that Warhorse confirmed plans to release Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on GOG at the end of January. The game was supposed to appear on CD Projekt’s service before the end of spring 2025.
As it became known, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will reach GOG at the end of this month, namely on March 28. The game’s page on the service has been open since the last announcement.

GOG’s administration notes that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has earned numerous praises from critics and ordinary gamers and is already considered “one of the best modern games in history.”
Unlike other PC platforms, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 for GOG will be DRM-free: “You simply must have this masterpiece in your GOG library to preserve it forever.”

Meanwhile, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is set to receive patch 1.2 with over a thousand improvements, including the ability to customize appearances at barbers and mod support. The update is scheduled for March 13.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released on February 4 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game has reached 2 million copies sold in less than two weeks since its release. Three paid story add-ons are also being developed for the project.
