The Swedish holding Embracer Group, which owns Warhorse Studios, in its financial report for the third quarter of the current fiscal year mentioned the first results of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Recall that a day after its release, sales of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 exceeded one million copies. As Embracer notes, the figure is currently rapidly approaching 2 million units.

According to Embracer management, the game performed particularly well on Steam (peaking at over 250,000 concurrent players) and “significantly exceeded expectations” for the launch.

Embracer co-founder and CEO Lars Wingefors called the success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 a reminder of the company’s core purpose: “bringing great products to market.”

«”Teams that produce high-quality products need the resources and time to realize their vision. When you have the right people, everyone benefits from that trust, including gamers, employees, and shareholders,” Wingefors said.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released on February 4 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and will be released on GOG in the spring. The game has earned high marks from critics (88% on Metacritic) and will soon receive official mod support.
