VG Entertainment, a studio founded by former GSC Game World developers, has presented a new gameplay trailer for its non-linear post-apocalyptic shooter Forest Reigns via the IGN portal.

Let us remind you that the events of Forest Reigns will unfold in a post-apocalyptic Paris captured by a sentient forest five years after a devastating pandemic that wiped out almost all people from the face of the Earth.
Players will have to adapt to a changing environment, fight dangerous creatures, modify weapons, come into contact with factions, explore the world and influence the plot with their decisions.
The seven-minute gameplay trailer showed off the variability of Forest Reigns, with a mission to rescue the townspeople’s lead scout who has been captured by an opposing faction.
The developers demonstrated that this mission can be completed in three ways: by staging an open confrontation, by turning to stealth under the cover of night, or by exploring the environment for hidden paths.
They promise a green post-apocalypse, a non-linear story with dozens of missions, intense shootouts with realistic weapon behavior, a lot of equipment, a lack of resources and crafting.
Forest Reign is only confirmed for PC (Steam) and at this stage does not even have an approximate release date. VG Entertainment’s (then Vostok Games) previous project was the MMO shooter Survarium.
