Judging by the materials posted ahead of time (and already hidden) by Hobby Consolas, DSOGaming and Gamereactor, the Reburn studio, founded by former 4A Games employees, is preparing a futuristic shooter called La Quimera.
Along with information about La Quimera, its gameplay trailer was leaked to the public domain ahead of time (see video below). There is no official version of the video yet, so we have to make do with an amateur one.
The trailer is reminiscent of Killzone and Crysis at the same time
The events of La Quimera will take place in a Latin American metropolis of the near future (2064, judging by the trailer), where local police officers in exoskeletons confront an influential criminal group.
Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn is reportedly responsible for the setting and script for La Quimera. The game is single-player focused, but includes three-player co-op.
Reburn is led by former 4A Games director Dmitry Lymar, and the studio includes Metro development veterans, including leading game designers, artists, and programmers.
Judging by the scale of the leak, the official announcement of La Quimera is just around the corner. According to the announcement trailer, the game will be released on Steam, but at the time of publication, the page on Valve’s service is unavailable.
