When modder Yui announced plans for seamless co-op for the action RPG Dark Souls Remastered in March, the project was in early development. It’s all the more surprising that by mid-April, the mod was ready for download.

The creator of the Seamless Co-op modification announced the release of an “early test” version (we are talking about the “alpha”) on his Patreon. You can join the seamless co-op in Dark Souls Remastered thanks to the Nexus Mods portal.
The release of Seamless Co-op was accompanied by a six-minute demo of the mod. Yui showed a co-op playthrough of the Undead City location, including a failed boss fight and an invasion by another player.
Fans of Yiu’s work have greeted the release of the Seamless Co-op mod for Dark Souls Remastered with excitement. “I’ve been dreaming about this for so long and I can’t believe you’ve finally brought it to us. Praise the sun!” justinlewis760 called out.
As the name suggests, the Seamless Co-op mod for Dark Souls Remastered removes all restrictions of multiplayer games, allowing you to maintain a connection even if the players die.
The developer promises a stable multiplayer session after death, killing a boss, teleporting, etc., support for six players, optional PvP invasions and difficulty modifiers (enemy health, friendly fire).
In the past, the enthusiast implemented seamless co-op in Dark Souls 3 (still in the process of being finalized) and Elden Ring. In the case of the latter, Seamless Co-op became the most popular mod for the game on Nexus Mods — almost 9 million downloads.
