Following the publication of the trailer for the sci-fi shooter Metal Eden, a 14-minute gameplay video appeared on YouTube. The authors of the Enfant Terrible channel, who posted the material, did not accompany it with comments or remarks.

The video was recorded on a system with an RTX 5090 graphics card in 4K resolution. The description under the video states that it does not reflect the final quality of the project. However, there are only a few months left until the release, and it is unlikely that the developers will make drastic changes to the gameplay or visual component.
Metal Eden tells the story of combat android Asuka, sent on a dangerous mission to save cores in the orbital city of the future Mobius. The heroine will challenge the engineers and, together with the player, reveal the secrets of the Eden project.
Over the course of 14 minutes, Asuka effortlessly destroys the hostile robots created by Mobius. Difficulties arise only with particularly large enemies, who use the geometry of the levels as skillfully as the heroine. In some cases, she uses the fist of her free hand for quick finishing moves.
Users liked the video. In the comments, they compare it to the best shooters of recent years and already call Metal Eden one of the main contenders for the title of the best game of 2025. “It looks like Doom, Cyberpunk 2077 and Ghostrunner at the same time,” said someone named PeterLlanos8.
Metal Eden will go on sale on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S on May 6 this year.
