The creators of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 assured gamers that 2025 will be “just as epic as 2024” and outlined plans for the development of various elements of the game – PvP, PvE, a customization system and a battle barge.

PvP fans will get new content in 2025, including another map (an enclosed space with many narrow passages), and custom lobbies in patch 7.0 (you can set the number of players, class restrictions, and so on).

Teaser for a new PvP map

As for PvE, the developers are preparing for the debut in 2025 the promised “Horde” mode, a system of prestige ranks (will appear with the launch of the third season), new operations, enemies and difficulty level.

There are also plans for even more customization elements (like Mark VI Corvus power armor) and a data storage on the battle barge with information about different aspects of the game to be unlocked for a special currency (details in early 2025).

The next champion for PvE and PvP will be a sniper from the Order of the Salamanders

«2025 is almost here and whether you celebrate Christmas or not, we wish you a happy ending to 2024. And remember: celebrating is good, but defending the Imperium is better. Don’t relax! Happy New Year, gamers,” the developers wished.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was released on September 9 on PC (2399 rubles on Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Since then, the game has received several patches, including two major ones, and has reached 5 million copies sold.
