The developers from the Portuguese studio Camel 101, together with the Wired Productions Publishing House, published a gameplay trailer and 6 minutes of the gameplay of their adventure horror-player for the survival of Beneath. Both videos are placed on the official IGN publication in YouTube.

The game will tell the story of an experienced diver named Noah Quinn, who found himself in the “trap of the depths of the ocean, where ancient evil reigns.” The protagonist will have to cope with the approaching madness and reveal a conspiracy that threaten all of humanity.
A short video demonstrates key gameplay mechanics: the hero manages to walk along several dark locations, shoot in nightmare creatures, and also see typical Lovecraft’s horrors.
Together with the trailer, the authors of Beneath released a gameplay video lasting almost seven minutes, which allows you to better understand the internal structure of the game.
The video captures the shootout, the process of solving simple puzzles with the search for the desired codes and the same walks along the dark corridors. At the end of the main character’s video, a huge tentacle is enough and drags in an unknown direction.
Both videos received many conflicting reviews. Users appreciated the unusual concept (an inspired by the work of Lovecraft, a deep -sea horror with shootings), but could not find a single well -made gameplay element.
Most of all, the authors of the comments caused firing with “oak” returns, unconvincing light effects, stupid AI among enemies and generally mediocre graphics. “It is very surprised that the developers still support the PS3 and Xbox 360,” the Beneath visual execution commented on Caseyw1286.
Separate users are convinced that something worthwhile can come out of the horror, but for this, the employees of the Camel 101 studio will have to do large-scale work on errors.
Beneath should go on sale for PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
