Hogwarts Legacy on PC will soon have official support for mods and an editor for creating them

Although the Hogwarts Legacy sequel has already become “one of the main priorities” of Warner Bros. Games, an original role -playing world with Avalanche Software developers are in no hurry to throw.

As it became known, on January 30, the PC version of Hogwarts Legacy will receive a free update with official support for modifications. The announcement was accompanied by a three-minute trailer with explanations.

Official support for Hogwarts Legacy modifications includes an intra -game mods browser and a free Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit editor, which will be available in the Epic Games Store digital store.

As part of the new initiative, mods will be hosted and moderated on the CurseForge platform. The Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit allows you to create new quests, dungeons, customization elements and other content.

For example, the official Dungeon of Doom, potential replacements for the broom, expand the heroization of the hero’s personalization and so on, was shown in partnership with enthusiasts with enthusiasts, and so on.

To publish your creations through the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, you will need a CurseForge account, and to view others in the game, Steam and Epic Games Store users will need to link a Warner Bros. account. Games.

Hogwarts Legacy debuted in February 2023 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and has since made its way to PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Sales of the game worldwide exceeded 30 million copies.
