According to Nate the Hate, during 2025, the collection of shooters Halo: The Master Chief Collection and the flight simulator Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, released only on PC and Xbox, will reach PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2.

In addition, 2025, according to the insider, will mark the arrival of the role-playing game Final Fantasy VII Remake on Xbox Series X and S, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will supposedly follow it in 2026. Both games are also scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2.

As for the timing of the release of Microsoft exclusives, the insider predicts the release of the shooter Doom: The Dark Ages, following eXtas1s, in May, and the adventure action game South of Midnight will supposedly be released in April – both games will appear on the Developer_Direct show.

The rumored remake of the cult role-playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, according to eXtas1s, will still not appear on Developer_Direct, but, according to Nate the Hate, it is currently announced for release in June.

Meanwhile, the action movie Gears of War: E-Day, which does not yet have a release date, is supposedly preparing for release in the fall. This is consistent with information from The Verge senior editor Tom Warren last year.

The mentioned Developer_Direct presentation is scheduled for January 23 (starts at 21:00 Moscow time). In addition to Doom: The Dark Ages and South of Midnight, the show will feature Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and a surprise game.
