GTA V is coming back to Game Pass, and very soon — for the first time ever, the game will be available on PC Game Pass

The popular open-world crime action game Grand Theft Auto V from developers Rockstar Games is preparing for another return to Game Pass, but this time it will allegedly please PC Game Pass users for the first time.

As a reminder, the last time GTA V was seen on Game Pass was from July 2023 to January 2024 (six months) – as with its two previous stints, the game was only available in console form.

Last summer, data miner Tez2 claimed, citing his findings, that Rockstar was preparing to make GTA V available to PC Game Pass subscribers for the first time, but nothing has been heard about the initiative since then.

According to a new newsletter from Rockstar Games to fan communities, GTA V will return to Game Pass before the end of April this year and will be available on Xbox consoles, PC, and the Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) cloud service.

Considering that Rockstar has already started notifying fans, the official announcement of GTA V’s return to Game Pass should be just around the corner. Microsoft presented the first wave of April game releases on the service the day before.

The original release of GTA V took place in September 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and the game was subsequently ported to PS4 and Xbox One (November 2014), PC (April 2015), PS5 and Xbox Series X and S (March 2022- go).

Debuting on current-gen consoles three years ago, the technical improvements reached the PC version of GTA V a month ago. As a result, the game was split into two editions – the classic (Legacy) and the new (Enhanced).
