GSC Game World has revealed what to expect from the story additions to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

Developers from GSC Game World are in no hurry to release the promised add-ons for their post-apocalyptic open-world shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, but shared some details of the DLC in an interview with the VideoGamer portal.

Let us remind you that two major story add-ons have been officially announced for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which are included in the game’s season pass (part of the most complete edition).

GSC Game World is not yet ready to reveal the content of future expansions for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, but they have lifted the veil of secrecy regarding what players can expect from the DLC.

«We don’t want to seem evasive, although we speak from the heart, but we assure you that with the story expansions we intend to surprise players and show [the Zone] from new points of view,” the studio noted.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 creators “can’t wait” to share DLC details, but the time hasn’t come yet

Currently, GSC Game World also continues to work on fixing and improving S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. In addition, there are plans to restore content cut during development.

The editors of VideoGamer predict that in five years S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be significantly different from the current version, but the developers do not want to guess: “The players will decide for themselves, and we will continue to work hard so as not to disappoint them.”

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was released on November 20, 2024 on PC, Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass. Two days after the release, sales of the game exceeded one million copies, and the audience of the project reached 6 million people in three months.
