Let us remind you that the minimum and recommended system requirements were and remain available on the game’s Steam page, and now the creators of Dune: Awakening have presented two more configurations – intermediate and maximum.
The full system requirements for Dune: Awakening are as follows:
Minimum requirements (1080p, 30 frames / s, low graphics settings)
Medium requirements (1080p, 60 fps, medium graphics settings)
Recommended requirements (1440p, 60 fps, high graphics settings)
Ultra requirements (4K, 60 fps, Ultra graphics settings)
At launch, Dune: Awakening will offer support for Nvidia DLSS 4, the “latest version” of AMD FSR and Intel XeSS 2, Razer Chroma RGB synchronized lighting technologies, and Razer Sensa HD Haptics intelligent haptic feedback.
The character editor and performance test are still available on the game’s Steam page
The developers also reminded that Dune: Awakening will be released immediately in full version, bypassing the early access stage. The game will not require a subscription. The project will develop through free updates and paid add-ons.
On Monday, March 24, Funcom will open pre-orders for Dune: Awakening and share details on the different editions. That same day, the studio’s Twitch channel will host a live stream (starting at 20:00 Moscow time) showing off the gameplay.
Dune: Awakening will be released on May 20 on PC (Steam), and will reach PS5, Xbox Series X and S later. Players will have to find water sources and spice emissions, build shelters, participate in large-scale PvP battles and avoid sandworms.
