The Duskbloods is a dark multiplayer shooter that looks like a mix between Bloodborne and Elden Ring. A three-minute gameplay trailer was shown during the Nintendo Direct.
Players will be sent to a fantasy world with elements of steampunk, oriental aesthetics and vampire themes. The video features rocket packs and the ability to turn into a dinosaur.
Users will take on the role of a member of the Bloodsworn group, whose members have gone beyond human capabilities thanks to their special blood, against the backdrop of the approaching “twilight of humanity”.
«The Duskbloods is a PvPvE game with an online multiplayer mode at its core, where up to 8 players compete for supremacy against each other and powerful enemies,” the official description of the project reads.
The Duskbloods is being led by FromSoftware president and Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki, who has previously admitted to looking to Escape from Tarkov for inspiration.
The Duskbloods is expected to release in 2026 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2. Elden Ring will also be released in a Tarnished Edition on Nintendo’s new hybrid console before the end of 2025.
