“Finally good Horizon on PlayStation”: The popular Forza Horizon 5 race will become the next Xbox exclusive on PS5

The Racing Arcade with the Open World forza Horizon 5 from the British studio PlayGround Games will be the first game of the series, which will be released not only on the PC and Xbox consoles. The version for PS5 is officially confirmed.

As it became known, Forza Horizon 5 will get to the PS5 in the next spring – the page in foreign PS Store is already open. On the Japanese console, the game will appear with all released updates and additions.

Porting Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 in collaboration with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games is engaged in the Panic Button team. In the Sony prefix version, crossplains with other platforms will also be implemented.

Users were surprised by the announcement (but not too much, given the Xbox course on the multi -platform) and reacted favorably to the port. “Finally, a good Horizon on PlayStation,” Klobrille blogger was glad for PS5 owners.

The events of Forza Horizon 5 unfold on the territory of Mexico. The game offers the largest and most diverse open world in the history of the series and almost 900 vehicles.

Forza Horizon 5 was published in November 2021 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S and Game Pass. The game has earned high (91–92 % on Metacritic) critics assessment. For seven months, the project audience reached 20 million people.

For three years, Forza Horizon 5 received two addons and more than 40 thematic updates, and soon one more – Horizon Realms will be added to them. In it, players will be able to explore the selection of previously released worlds of Evolving Worlds.
