The 25.2 update brought the Three Kingdoms: Battle of Dongkou event to the World of Warships, a continuation of the Three Kingdoms event (which debuted in version 13.1). Players will take sides in the conflict between the Wu Kingdom and the Wei Kingdom.
Users will have to participate in battles, complete combat missions, earn personal progress points (unlike last year’s event, team progress is not provided) and receive rewards.
Last year’s themed ships were joined by Xian Deng and Dou Jian, the elite commander Zhang Liao with a special voiceover, and as part of the “Deal of the Era” activity, you can get the pan-Asian supership Xi’an – a separate video was dedicated to it.
Players will also receive a premium container, “Dynasty Heritage,” containing ships from the current and past events, the “Blazing Fenghuang” and “Divine Qilin” symbols, the “Patrons of the East” patch, and the “Three Kingdoms: Battle of Dongkou” achievement.
As for future holidays, the developers of “World of Ships” have prepared thematic events and unique content to celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day, Maslenitsa and International Women’s Day:
Also in 25.2, we implemented sound improvements and tabs with ranked battles, the ability to skip the Bronze League for champion tokens and mechanics for increasing the level of mastery of the game on high-tier ships.
