Let us recall that at the end of December, the creators of Mouthwashing reported that in the three months since the September release they had sold more than 300 thousand copies of the game, which the team “couldn’t even imagine.”

As it became known, the following less than two months brought new reasons for joy to the authors of Mouthwashing. By now, the total sales of the game have already exceeded half a million copies (that is, 500 thousand).

«”You are all just so incredibly awesome. We are forever grateful for your participation in this harrowing journey and on behalf of everyone here at Wrong Organ and CR Channel, we want to say thank you,” reads a statement from Wrong Organ and Critical Reflex.

As for the game’s imminent expansion of platform geography, in 2025 Mouthwashing will set off to conquer new horizons, or more precisely, consoles – PS5, Xbox Series X, S and Nintendo Switch.

As part of a partnership with Fangamer for PS5 and Switch, the game will be released not only digitally, but also in retail. The release of themed paraphernalia (clothing, soundtrack on vinyl records, etc.) is also scheduled for 2025.

Mouthwashing was released on September 26, 2024 on Steam and earned 96% “extremely positive” reviews on the platform. According to the plot, the crew members of the cargo spaceship “Tulpar” are doomed to a slow but certain death.
