Stargazer’s biggest new feature will be another massive creature to conquer, created in collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV Online concept artist Yusuke Mogi.
The Eternal Strands developers have also prepared a new map for Stargazer, a unique set of armor and three weapon blueprints, additional quests and another magical ability for the main character.
In addition, Stargazer will include a system for painting equipment items (weapons, armor), increasing the capacity of inventory and storage, as well as improvements to the combat system and movement mechanics.
As we learned from the gameplay trailer attached above, Stargazer will be released tomorrow, April 15, on all target Eternal Strands platforms. The add-on will be free for owners of the game.
Stargazer is the first of two free DLCs for Eternal Strands made in collaboration with other studios. The untitled add-on, scheduled for release this summer, is being developed in collaboration with Grasshopper Manufacture (No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned).
Eternal Strands was released on January 28, 2025 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass. The game offers a “revolutionary” interaction system, next-gen physics, and graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5.
