The Molasses Flood (The Flame in the Flood, Drake Hollow), founded in 2014 by people from Irrational Games, Harmonix, and Bungie, no longer exists. The team was completely absorbed by CD Projekt Red.

Recall that CD Projekt acquired The Molasses Flood (TMF) in October 2021. Since early 2022, the team has been working on a non-linear multiplayer action game based on The Witcher, codenamed Sirius.
In a laconic message on its official website, The Molasses Flood announces that on April 1st the studio merged with CD Projekt Red and ceased to exist as an independent legal entity.
CD Projekt Red has taken over all rights and responsibilities of The Molasses Flood, including distribution of The Flame in the Flood and Drake Hollow. The former TMF staff will continue working on Sirius.

Molasses Flood co-founder Damian Isla, who left the band last week, called the takeover “the end of an era” and “a good and healthy change for the studio” that had been brewing for some time.
According to Ayla, the merger will help overcome certain organizational barriers, allow for better integration of the TMF team into the CDPR structure and provide a “very bright future” for Sirius.
«“This is going to be a great game for the ages, and I can’t wait for the rest of the world to see what we’ve been working on,” said Ayla about the prospects of the multiplayer action game based on The Witcher.
