Electronic Arts intrigued the fans with a teaser of the reprints of The Sims and The Sims 2 – they will come out very soon and will turn on all DLC

As part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Franchise of the Life of The Sims, Electronic Arts Publishing House and developers from the Maxis studio are going to send fans to the past-during the first two parts of the series.

On the eve of January 27, EA launched Nostalgia Now-a new stage in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Sims. The beginning of the segment was noted by the publication of the propaganda attached below, in which fans saw the teaser of the reprints of The Sims and The Sims 2.

The 10-second video showed the wheel of interaction from The Sims 2. After the player chooses the “Time Travel” option, the audience is demonstrated by Plambob (Green Crystal-a series symbol) from the original The Sims and its sequel.

Kotaku portal with reference to its sources reports that the suspicions of the fans are not groundless. Electronic Arts is supposedly really preparing to reissue The Sims and The Sims 2 on modern devices.

According to Kotaku, the reprints of The Sims and The Sims 2 will go to the PC until the end of January (that is, this week) and will include all the additions released for games. Whether remasters will appear on the consoles, it is unclear.

The first The Sims was released in 2000 and was available only on discs, and the support of The Sims 2 (2004) was turned in 2014-that summer, the most complete edition was distributed for free to Origin users (he will soon cease to exist).

Meanwhile, instead of releasing The Sims 5, EA and Maxis continue to develop The Sims 4, are preparing for release the social Project Rene, and are working on turning The Sims into an entertainment platform with its own feature film.
