EA for the first time confirmed when the new Battlefield will come out

Following the presentation of the Battlefield Labs test environment, the publisher and developer Electronic Arts for the first time revealed the estimated deadlines for the release of the next game in his series of Battlefield military shooters.

Information was lit up in a press release on the publication of the Electronic Arts report for the third quarter of the current financial year, in which the new Battlefield allocated one item from the list of main operational indicators.

As it became known from the document, the launch of the next Battlefield is scheduled for the 2026 fiscal year, that is, the period from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. This converges with earlier rumors.

Recall that last winter the proven insider Tom Henderson, citing his sources, reported that the new Battlefield is planned to launch in October 2025. It seems that this information is not far from the truth.

The events of the new Battlefield will unfold in the modern world, and the game is positioned as a return to roots with matches for 64 player and a class system. The project has the largest resources in the history of the franchise.

The game is created by four studios: Dice is working on multiplayer, Motive with plot missions and network cards, Criterion – a solitary campaign, and Ripple Effect – a new experience for franchise (according to rumors, this is a royal battle).
