The new incarnation of Devolver Delayed takes the form of the Devolver Delayed Awards 2024, the only awards ceremony recognizing “heroic developers for their courage and determination to move their game into the next financial year.”
The 2024 Devolver Delayed Awards are billed as being in their 15th year (though last year’s Devolver Delayed was the first) of a grand show “celebrating the brightest and best indie games you can’t play yet.”
The announcement of the Devolver Delayed Awards 2024 was accompanied by a 25-second teaser (attached above) and the promise of participation from “some of the most prestigious and anticipated acts in recent years.”
Devolver Digital’s upcoming releases currently include:
Possessor(s) is an action platformer from the creators of Hyper Light Drifter from Heart Machine
In addition to rewarding developers who decide to port their games, surprises are expected as part of the Devolver Delayed Awards 2024: “And who knows, maybe we’ll even show you something new.”
The Devolver Delayed Awards 2024 ceremony will take place tomorrow, November 27th. The show is scheduled to start at 21:00 Moscow time. The slogan for the new event is “More games, more delays, more reasons to be disappointed.”
