Recall that the hotly anticipated open-world crime action game GTA VI from Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive is still scheduled for autumn 2025, but only for consoles. A PC release has not even been confirmed yet.

At the same time, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick recently emphasized the growing importance of the platform and hinted that it would be unprofitable for the company to skip the release of GTA VI on PC.

Corsair Gaming CEO Andy Paul called GTA VI “the most anticipated and demanding game on the horizon,” adding that it’s still a year away from release.

«”Yeah, GTA VI is probably the talk of the town right now. As far as I understand, it’s coming to consoles this fall and then PC in early 2026,” said Corsair VP of Finance Ronald van Veen.

It is unclear where Corsair Gaming got the information about the release date of GTA VI on PC. Former Rockstar North technical director Obbe Vermeij, for example, believes that the PC version will not be released until 2027.

GTA VI is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Analysts expect the game to set sales records: more than $1 billion in revenue from pre-orders alone and $3.2 billion in earnings over the first 12 months.
