“Control 2 crept imperceptibly”: the role action of The Directorate: Novitiate about the sorceress-gangster in the criminal world of Los Angeles is announced

The Canadian Nesting Games Studio (belongs to the Digital Bros holding) through the IGN portal introduced the Directorate: Novitiate – a third -person gangster action with magic and RPG elements.

The events of The Directorate: Novitiate will unfold in 2006. The mystical criminal world of Los Angeles was on the verge of war. The main character of the game landed between two lights and will be forced to protect the reality that she knows.

Users will get the role of the Kana Luna girl who has connected with the Los Angeles criminal environment, which becomes a powerful magician-gangster and takes the pseudonym Mercury.

Players in the image of Mercury will have to track the mystical serial killer, lead a daytime (ordinary) and night (criminal) life, learn dangerous secrets and defeat magical enemies.

The battles in The Directorate: Novitiate combine the elements of traditional shooters from a third person with magic and acrobatic techniques of Gan Kata. The pumping system with levels, upgrades and perks is declared as if from RPG.

Spectators of The Directorate: Novitiate trailer (see video above), noted the similarity of the game with the paranormal action of Control from Remedy Entertainment. “Control 2 crept unnoticed,” the D4V1DMINHNG noted.

The Directorate: Novitiate will be released in early access to Steam throughout 2025. They promise the world of militant contradictions and mystical forces, a cruel, magical and dramatic story, the importance of decisions and bright characters.
