You can apply for participation in the upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign tests on the website of the project’s publisher, Bandai Namco, until January 20. It is worth noting that registration does not guarantee admission to testing.
As it became known, closed network testing of Elden Ring Nightreign will take place on PS5, Xbox Series X and S from February 14 to 17 in five three-hour sessions (Moscow time):
Online testing will allow participants to try out the co-op experience: teaming up in teams of three to survive a three-day gameplay cycle and face increasingly difficult enemies and bosses.
The events of Nightreign will unfold parallel to the story of Elden Ring in an alternate version of the Grave. Players alone or in a team of three will have to survive three days (15 minutes each) and defeat the Lord of the Night.
Instead of a character editor, Nightreign will have eight pre-made heroes with their own stories, and procedural generation will be responsible for the landscape and enemies in locations, which will make each run unique.
Elden Ring Nightreign will be released in 2025 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. They promise bosses from Dark Souls, no PvP, microtransactions, battle passes, cross-play and a custom message system.
