Azeroth is overrun with gilded brutosaurs – Blizzard has released an “imaginary dinosaur” for World of Warcraft for $90

The developers at Blizzard Entertainment know the World of Warcraft audience. No sooner had the merchant’s gold-plated Brutosaurus for $90 appeared in the Battle.net store than Azeroth was literally flooded with expensive mounts.

The merchant’s gold-plated Brutosaurus is a variation of the usual one (at one time it fetched a whopping 5 million coins). His harness features a 20th Anniversary theme and features gems representing the WoW expansions.

The premium vehicle comes complete with remote access to the mailbox/auction house (that is, there is no need to return to the city for purchases) and will be sold only until January 6, 2025.

The excitement around the merchant’s gold-plated Brutosaurus led to a sharp increase in demand and prices for World of Warcraft tokens (needed to replenish the Battle.net wallet): from 210 thousand to 340 thousand gold units in America and from 300 thousand to 420 thousand in Europe .

Following the purchase, the happy owners of the merchant’s gilded Brutosaurus hurried to the streets of major cities of Azeroth, where they began to line up in orderly (and not so orderly) rows to show off with other collectors.

In a discussion on the Reddit forum, fans were outraged by the price of the gold-plated Brutosaurus of the merchant and noted that the vehicle costs more than the current add-on The War Within ($50 for the base edition).

Users are predicting that the merchant’s gold-plated Brutosaurus will bring Blizzard mountains of real gold, but some just can’t come to terms with the reality. “$90 for an imaginary dinosaur, damn me,” OneMagicBadger continues.
