The main triumph of the evening was the platformer Astro Bot from Team Asobi. The project celebrated its victory in the nominations “Game of the Year”, “Best Game for the Whole Family”, “Best Game Design”, “Best Animation” and “Achievement in Sound”.

The BAFTA Games Awards 2025 win was Astro Bot’s third at major gaming awards after The Game Awards and DICE Awards. The PS5 exclusive failed to repeat the historic achievement of Baldur’s Gate 3.

Psychological horror Still Wakes the Deep won three awards at the 2025 BAFTA Games Awards (including two for acting), while co-op action game Helldivers 2 was unrivaled in two categories.
