The developers of Black Myth: Wukong announced the release of a free Black Myth: Wukong Benchmark Tool application on the Steam digital store to test PC performance in the upcoming game.

The tool evaluates the performance of user hardware and its compliance with the system requirements of Black Myth: Wukong by processing game scenes in real time.

Performance test demonstration

Users can choose graphics settings from low to realistic, including ray tracing, scaling (Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR, Intel XeSS) and frame generation technology.

The developers note that the test results are as close as possible to the expected performance when playing Black Myth: Wukong, however, due to the complexity and variety of scenes, they may differ from the results in the full version.

Steam users share the results of checks in the application reviews and praise the developers for releasing the tool separately from the game. At the time of publication, Benchmark Tool had nearly 900 “very positive” reviews (94% rating).

Black Myth: Wukong will be released on August 20 on PC (Steam, EGS, WePlay) and PS5, and the first reviews will appear on the 16th. According to the authors, the data collected through the Benchmark Tool will help identify potential problems and make the game better.
