Publisher Activision and developers from the Treyarch studio staged a presentation of the Zombies mode in the upcoming military shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Among other things, the first gameplay trailer was shown.
The events of the “Zombies” sample of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will unfold on the island of Terminus in the Philippine Sea. Former members of the Requiem team must make a daring escape after five years in prison.
The mode’s story is a continuation of Zombies from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The main plot operatives will be familiar Gregory Weaver, Carver McKenzie, Elizabeth Gray and newcomer Maya Aguinaldo.
The two-minute Zombies gameplay trailer shows the return to round structure mode and the Terminus map, one of two that will be available at the launch of Black Ops 6 (the other being Liberty Falls).
They are preparing the ability to run, slide, jump in all directions, switch to third-person view, interrupt the passage in “solo” and continue later, and also join a friend’s already started session.
They promise a classic mixture of survival and grotesque design of monsters (including arachnids and insects), flexible interface customization and an option for help with the main quest on the map (will appear after release).
«Zombies, along with multiplayer (16 maps) and a story campaign, will be part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at launch on October 25. The game will be released on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as Game Pass.
