Discussing the release dates of the open-world action RPG The Witcher 4 confirmed by CD Projekt on the ResetEra forum, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier let slip when to expect Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
«”I’m pretty sure I was talking about very early teasers [of The Witcher 4 and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet at The Game Awards 2024]. Neither of those games are coming out next year,” Schreier said.
Thus, if we are to believe Schreier, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will have to wait until at least 2027. The Witcher 4 received a similar release date in the recent financial report of CD Projekt.
According to the plot, bounty hunter Jordan gets stuck on the planet Sempiria, which lost contact with the rest of the universe hundreds of years ago.
In a recent interview, Naughty Dog co-head Neil Druckmann revealed that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has been in development for at least four years and is still continuing to evolve and develop.
«”We’re playing it in the office, and it’s incredible. It’s really good. I’m so excited to finally show the gameplay to the world, because we’ve only shown the very, very, very tip of the iceberg,” Druckmann hinted in a new interview with IGN.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is being pitched as a new franchise for the PS5, promising the “boldest, most creative” storyline yet, along with the “deepest gameplay” in Naughty Dog’s history.
